HSE Coordinator

The HSE Coordinator will implement and maintain safety programs that promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and industry regulations. They will work closely with field operations to identify hazards, reduce risk, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement across all company operations. 

Responsibilities

  • Promote a strong safety culture across all assets. 
  • Knowledge and experience with Safety and Environmental programs pertaining to oil and gas in New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, or Texas
  • Familiar with SPCC requirements
  • Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations regarding LOTO, Hazard Communication, H2S, Fall
  • Protection, Confined Space and Fire Prevention/Protection
  • Investigate incidents (reporting), determine root cause, and implement corrective actions.
  • Familiar with Air Rules and Regulations including EPA Title V, OOOO, Regulations 7, NMED Ozone Rule, NMOCD Venting, etc.
  • Experience with tracking systems and databases for documentation purposes.

Required Skills

  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter and motivated 
  • Experience with tracking systems and databases for documentation purposes 
  • Familiar with DOT rules and regulations
  • Certified LDAR Technician preferred.
  • Familiar with LDAR regulations OOOOa, NMED, NMOCD, Regulation 7
  • Ability to build a working relationship with the field.

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • 3+ years' experience performing Safety/Environmental in an Oil and Gas setting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
